GAP – Global Action on Poverty is an initiative of Head Held High Foundation. It is a movement to eradicate poverty globally, through thought and action.GAP brings together Changemakers from all walks of life, enables them to unleash the potential of those who are poor, thus creating a better world. This is GAP’s purpose.
How does GAP do it?
#GAP 2015 brought together some of the greatest pioneers and trailblazers from the world of poverty eradication – people GAP calls Mentors – Mohd Yunus, Aruna Roy, Jean Dreze, Ela Bhatt, Madhav Chavan, Harsh Mander, Harish Hande , Vijay Mahajan who played a key role. GAP also invited 100 Changemakers, and an equal number of Catalysts, people and organisations who supported Changemakers through resources, connections and funds. It was a 2 day event at Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram.

What will happen at #GAP 2016?
#GAP 2016, a 4 Day Intensive Event, will have a dozen powerful Mentors, similar to those listed above, who will engage personally with everyone. Each and every Changemaker will have one’s project or enterprise vetted in some detail by peers and an expert. There will be a number of practical learning sessions on large complex issues like scaling one’s idea, creating successful collaborations or engaging with government, to more specific ones like making a pitch for funding, building a proposal or creating marketing plans. Established NGO’s like Grameen, SELCO, Pratham, SEWA will show-case their journey to growth, and perhaps invite aspiring CM’s to join their group!

The GAP Coaching Program
GAP also engaging dynamic, experienced and heart centred coaches who will support you to understand and grow your leadership and ensure that your idea/initiative has the maximum impact. This 1 year ongoing GAP Coaching Program is a transformational journey that will allow you to grow and accelerate your initiative as GAP Coaches connect with you, connect with the GAP world of resources and also the external networks that can support you. You will be supported to streamline your ideas and project / enterprise in a number of sessions, and across all of this, a senior professional coach (one for every 5 Changemakers) will work alongside you to enable you to reach your goals, with your total commitment to the outcomes.

How much will it cost to attend this event?
If all the services were to be charged for, #GAP 2016 would cost each participant in excess of Rs 75,000. However, GAP is providing a graded fee between Rs 0 to Rs 15,000. Therefore, those Changemakers who are selected, are invited to pay Rs 15,000 which includes the cost of all meals during the event and all Course Materials. You can pay Rs 15,000, or Rs 10,000, or Rs 5,000 or Rs 0, based on what you believe you can afford and the value you believe you will get. You are also eligible for a 100% refund in case you find that there was not enough value in GAP 2016 for you, no questions asked.

Category 1:​Have identified a change idea and want to execute it
Category 2:​Have initiated action on your idea and are looking to further the cause
Category 3:​Have achieved impact and are on the path to scaling and growing the activity
