Taking Charge Your Entrepreneurial Journey!

The African Women Studies Centre (AWSC) in collaboration with School of Business (University of Nairobi)

Venue: UON Towers, Chandaria Centre for Performing Arts

Is proud to invite you to the launch of the Women Entrepreneurs Training Programme Launch this October 6th, 2017 at 2:30 pm – 7:30 pm. The program aims at providing support to women entrepreneurs in growing their business in the emerging markets locally, regionally and internationally.

In addition, the training aims to enable women to improve and transform their business into thriving and sustainable business ventures.

The AWSC and SoB have planned a half day launch program on October 6th, targeting 300 women in the enterprise sector, budding entrepreneurs, trainers and mentors in business, government and entrepreneurship. The objective of the launch who’s theme is Taking Charge of Your Entrepreneurial Journeyis to;-

  • Create an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to network
  • A space to acquire knowledge where they have gaps.
  • Share some success stories
  • Motivate the audience to invest in entrepreneurship

The purpose of the launch is two fold:

  • To introduce AWSC first entrepreneur’s workshop, tailored to teach from the basic of entrepreneurship, requirements of doing business in Kenya, to business management,technology use, import, and exports as well as the procurement process.We will continue to organize more events for women entrepreneurs, so you can network, connect with others and learn about taking a business to the next level in a fun and relaxing atmosphere!
  • To introduce the School of Business executive programs,as the center of excellence in the creation of business best practices. Its mission is to provide leadership in pursuit of business and management knowledge. The program provides professional and executive the opportunity and space to reinvigorate your current role, and advance your leadership capabilities.
