Join us for the third annual MEST Africa Summit as once again we bring together the brightest minds in African tech!
Now entering our 10th year, MEST is truly Pan-African, with a presence in 5 African countries and recent incubator launches in Lagos and Cape Town. As we continue to scale across the continent, our portfolio companies are growing with us.
Looking back on our experience training, investing in and supporting African startups over the last decade, the third MEST Africa Summit will celebrate businesses who have successfully begun to scale across new markets, and the corporates, incubators, ecosystem partners and investors who have helped them get there.
Discussions will explore the challenges startups face as they look to expand operations in new markets, as well as the nuances of doing business in each of MEST Africa’s primary markets (Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire). We’ll highlight corporate executives across Africa and globally who have succeeded in bringing innovation to their organisations, and learn about the shifting investor landscape on the continent. We will also be launching the outcomes of our #FundingAfrica campaign, which will deep dive into the profiles of leading African investors.
The event will culminate with the final round of our Scale-up Challenge, a competition which will bring the best scale-ups from South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire to Cape Town to pitch before our panel of experts.
