Booster Kenya, a program by Segal Family Foundation, seeks to grow the organization capacity of early-stage civil society organizations that are working to bring about positive change to communities in Kenya. We are looking for 14 organizations recruit into the program for the 2021-2022 Cohort. Booster Kenya participants will be provided with expert capacity building support, access to a network of peer organizations, and a small, one-off organization grant at the end of the program.
Eligible orgs must fulfill the following criteria:
- Are legally registered in Kenya and have active programs in Kenya
- Are an early-stage organization with at least one year of operation and a budget under
$100,000 - Have a clear vision and clear leadership
- Can demonstrate that their work has a positive social impact
- Serve the community directly and engage the community in their own development
- Have programs in one or more of the following thematic areas:
• Education (keen on organizations working in underserved counties)
• Health (keen on applicants working in mental health and non-communicable diseases)
• Youth Skilling and Market Placement (the organization must have both components in
their program)
