The fund accepts applications on a continuous basis, with no deadlines or “rounds” of funding. In addition to this open application window, we actively seek out investments.

If you are interested in applying to The Global Innovation Fund, please follow these steps:

1. Before you start an application, please take the time to understand what we are looking for in our investments. The fund’s review process is highly selective and rigorous, and less than 10% of applicants are invited to submit full proposals. To evaluate whether you are competitive for our funding, please see Am I a good fit for The Global Innovation Fund?
2. If you think you are a good fit, then take a minute to understand what stage your application is at, and what sort of funding you should apply for.
3. When you are ready to apply, you will begin on our online portal. An initial application involves two parts. First, you fill out an online application form with general information about your request for funding. Second, you upload a short (max 4 page, or 12 slide) description of your innovation, which will be provided after completion of the online form. You can either use our template application questionsor you can chose to upload a free-form document. Either way, make sure your application addresses our four investment criteria.
